Can I get permit applications on line?
Yes, many of the applications and forms are available on the Documents/Downloads page.

What is the zoning for my property?
Our zoning maps are available on the website. On the 'Maps' page click on either of the Zoning Maps. You will be able to zoom into the area to determine the zoning for your property. Please feel free to call 688-2011 if you need further assistance.

Who do I contact about a building inspection?
Please call Kim Harris, 688-2008 to schedule your inspections. Requests received before 3:00 pm can be handled the next day.

Do I need a permit to add on to my house?
Yes, applications are available on-line. Submit your completed application along with two sets of plans to the building office located at 205 E. Barbour Street.

Can I place a utility building or other structure on my property?
Yes, but it must meet setbacks. Typically, the setbacks to lot lines for accessory structures is 3 feet. Please contact 688-2011 for further assistance.

Do I need a permit to place a sign on my business?
Yes, sign permits are available on-line on the 'Documents/Downloads' page. Submit your completed application along with two sets of elevations and/or site plans locating the sign(s) to the building office.

Can I place a mobile home in the city limits of Eufaula?

Depending on the zoning district, a mobile home may be placed in the city limits. Please call this office at 688-2011 for assistance.

Do I need a permit to place a mobile home on my property?
Yes, a permit must be filed with this office to locate the mobile home on a lot. Mobile Home Moving companies must also be licensed with the City. Applications along with two site plans locating the home on the property should be submitted to the building office.
