Records Division

The records division is responsible for distributing and maintaining all police reports written by the Eufaula Police Department.

Each day the Records Clerk enters the previous day's written reports into the department's records management system. Those reports are filed and retained for a prescribed number of years before being destroyed. All police reports are permanently maintained in the department’s computerized system.

Individuals can get a copy of a police report in-person or by mail in the following manner. In-person by coming to the records division located at the Eufaula Police Department. The records division is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Those individuals wanting to receive a police report by mail must include the following:

    1.    
Your request must give specific information about the report you 
           want mailed to you, i.e., case report number, date of the accident 
            or crime, driver or victim's name listed on the report. 

    2.    
Personal or certified check or money order.

    3.    
Mail your request to the following address:

In addition to providing copies of Incident/Offense and Accident reports, the Records Division is also responsible for conducting local background checks. These are available at no cost to the public but please remember, you must have a valid ID in your possession to obtain the above.
