TACTICAL TEAM
The Eufaula Police Department’s Tactical Team's mission is to gain maximum control of any tactical operation/situation while employing the minimal amount of force. To that end, tactical team members will develop the maximum level of competence, skill, and knowledge through training. This preparedness will substantially minimize the potential for the loss of human life or serious bodily injury to team members, other law enforcement officers, citizens, and suspects during the successful resolution of critical incidences.
The tactical team currently has eight (8) entry team members, two (2) tactical medics, and four (4) perimeter team personnel. The Eufaula Tactical Team is a member of the National Tactical Officer’s Association and of the Alabama Tactical Officer’s Association.
