Q. What is the process for obtaining a license to operate a business from my home?

A. Persons wishing to operate a business from their home located in a residentially zoned district must make application to the Board of Zoning Adjustment for approval of a home occupation. The Board of Zoning Adjustment meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Municipal Courtroom. Q. What is the process to divide or rezone property located within the city limits?

A. Persons wishing to subdivide or rezone property must submit an application to the Eufaula Planning Commission. The Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Municipal Courtroom. Q. If I have an emergency, who do I call?

A. The Enhanced 911 program is operational in the City of Eufaula. If you have an emergency, dial 911 and you will be connected with the central emergency dispatch center. Police, fire, and/or rescue services will be dispatched to your location to assist you.

Q. What if I need police assistance, but it is not an emergency?

A. The Eufaula Police Department can be reached at 687-1200 for non-emergency situations.

Q. Where do I obtain a copy of a police report or automobile accident report?

A. Incident/accident reports are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from the records division at the Eufaula Police Department, 545 East Barbour Street. There is a $5 charge per report.
