A. The Licensing Division at City Hall handles all business license transactions. You may obtain a copy of the form online or in person by visiting the office at 205 E. Barbour Street. For more information call 688-2007.
Q. What is the process for obtaining a license to operate a business from my home?
A. Persons wishing to operate a business from their home located in a residentially zoned district must make application to the Board of Zoning Adjustment for approval of a home occupation. The Board of Zoning Adjustment meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the Municipal Courtroom. Applications must be submitted in advance and receive staff review prior to presentation to the Commission. For more information, contact Gloria Cole, secretary to the Board, at 688-2000.
Q. What is the process to divide or rezone property located within the city limits?
A. Persons wishing to subdivide or rezone property must submit an application to the Eufaula Planning Commission. The Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Municipal Courtroom. Applications must be submitted in advance and receive staff review prior to presentation to the Commission. For more information, contact Teri Bush, Subdivision Administrator, at 687-1206.
Q. If I have an emergency, who do I call?
A. The Enhanced 911 program is operational in the City of Eufaula. If you have an emergency, dial 911 and you will be connected with the central emergency dispatch center. Police, fire, and/or rescue services will be dispatched to your location to assist you.
Q. What if I need police assistance, but it is not an emergency?
A. The Eufaula Police Department can be reached at 687-1200 for non-emergency situations.
Q. Where do I obtain a copy of a police report or automobile accident report?
A. Incident/accident reports are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from the records division at the Eufaula Police Department, 545 East Barbour Street. There is a $5 charge per report.

A. f your traffic citation was issued by the Eufaula Police Department, you may pay your fine at the Eufaula Municipal Court Magistrate's Office located at 545 East Barbour Street. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. They may be reached by telephone at 687-1235.

A. Driver's licenses and automobile license plates are issued through the Judge of Probate, Barbour County Courthouse, East Broad Street, Eufaula, 687-1530.
