6 am to 5 pm

Appointments

Please call 24 hours in advance to schedule appointments. Eufaula Barbour Transit Authority (EBTA) will be closed on the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Martin Luther King
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veteran's Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas

Dialysis Holiday Services

Dialysis holiday service will be offered only at the request of the dialysis patients on a per need basis. If you are a dialysis patient in need of transportation, you may request services by calling the EBTA office 24 hours in advance of the holiday to make an appointment for service.

If the holiday is on a Monday patients must call the office by 4 pm on Friday. Calls must be placed in the office; drivers are not allowed to accept holiday appointments. If appointment is not made within 24 hours of the holiday, no service will be offered.

Scheduling Service

EBTA operates under a Demand Response System. All rides must be scheduled with the EBTA office 24 hours in advance. Please call the office between the hours of 8 am through 4 pm, Monday through Friday to make appointments. Appointments called in on the answering machine will not be accepted. Please prepare for pickup at least 15 minutes before or 15 minutes after scheduled pick-up time.

Fares

Fares are payable by cash, check, or EBTA vouchers:

  • Children 3 and under - Free
  • One Way - $2
  • Round Trip - $4
  • Each additional stop - $2
