In support of the City's workforce, the Human Resources/Risk Management Department provides a full range of functions and services to include the administration of the City's personnel system including:
- Benefits program
- Disciplinary and grievance processes
- Drug/alcohol program
- Employment and promotional procedures
- Property, auto, and liability insurances
- Worker's compensation
The City of Eufaula employs approximately 170 full time employees and approximately 40 part-time employees engaged in various areas of public service including:
- General labor
- Public safety
All persons seeking employment with the City of Eufaula are required to file an application for the specific advertised position desired unless specifically designated that a resume is acceptable. Applications should be filed with the Human Resources Department located at 205 E Barbour Street. The office hours are from 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Thursday, and Friday, from 8 am to noon, except holidays.
